为全面提高教师的专业素养，增强教师课堂教学的能力，提供教师间相互学习、交流的平台，11月6日，南京外国语学校方山分校英语教研组开展了丰富多彩的教研活动。朱善萍校长、教学管理中心负责高中英语教学的孔小囡副主任和负责初中英语教学的鲁丹副主任参加了本次活动。
On November 6th , the NFLSFC English Department held a professional development workshop for middle and high school teachers. The workshop helped to boost teachers’ professional skills, give them useful tools to develop their teaching practice and create a platform for teachers to learn and communicate with each other. Principal Zhu Shanping, Kong Xiaonan, the deputy director of Teaching Management Center and leader of senior high English department, and Lu Dan, the deputy director of Teaching Management Center and leader of junior high English department attended the event.
本次教研活动在七年级和高一年级新教师的自我介绍中拉开帷幕，伴随着一场有趣的分组小游戏，此次教研活动的氛围达到了高潮，老师们在互相合作中增进了彼此之间的了解。
The event began with the new teachers from Grade 7 and Grade 10 giving a self-introduction. The teachers then took part in a fun and energetic team-building game, which helped everyone to get to know each other better.
随后，徐聪、汪力、王玥老师分别上台，与大家分享了她们去参加苏州外国语学校教研活动的学习经验、有效的课堂教学活动和点子，让现场的老师们收获满满。
Later, teachers Xu Cong, Wang Li and Wang Yue each took to the stage to speak about what they had learned from attending a professional development event held at Suzhou Foreign Language School (SFLS). Each of the teachers shared effective teaching techniques and classroom activities, which proved very useful for all teachers in attendance.

To conclude the workshop, the heads of the lesson planning groups for each grade got together to brainstorm ideas about how to best implement teaching strategies and classroom activities for each level.
此次教研活动创新了互动交流、课堂展示、教学分享等形式，增进了我校英语教师之间彼此的了解，互享教学资源和教学理念，有效促进了青年教师的成长，让教师们在以后的工作中取得更好的教学效果。
The professional development workshop helped establish links between teachers that will allow them to cooperate and communicate with each other more, show their classroom work and share ideas about teaching. We hope that the teachers who participated in the event will be able to work together in the future to continue their professional development, improving their effectiveness as educators.
