8月27日-28日，南外方山分校召开了2019—2020学年第一学期首次全体教师培训大会，为新学期的教育教学工作奠定坚实基础。朱善萍校长、周世东书记、宋长杰副校长、李小福副校长、陈礼斌副校长、Martin副校长、Daniel副校长均出席了会议。会议由校务办公室石城主任主持。

朱善萍校长首先作了题为《办学有道 教育无界》的主题演讲，她在演讲中指出，“道”是一种方向和标准。全校上下新学期要始终坚守党和国家的教育方针，坚持社会主义办学方向，培养社会主义事业的建设者和接班人，培养合格的国家公民和世界公民，坚持国家课程标准；要爱心育人，立德树人，培育和弘扬社会主义核心价值观，提升教师自身的修为与涵养，采用科学、合理、多元、组合、融合的教育途径，勇于尝试；创造性地学习和遵循世界上最先进的教育学、心理学及其他学科理论，建立、创新自己的教育教学思想体系与风格特征。
Firstly, principal Zhu Shanping delivered a speech entitled “stick to 'Dao'，go beyond boundaries”. In her speech, she pointed out that “Dao” is a direction and standard. 同时，朱善萍校长在讲话中也强调了教师要跳出思维定势和陈腐观念的黑匣子，冲出思想、观念、文化、行业、空间、时间界限，打破物资、信息、人力等资源界限，突破班级、年级、学部、课程、测试、学校、国度，甚至是星球等边界，为学生创造更多学习共享交流的空间和平台。

接下来，周世东书记围绕2019—2020学年第一学期的学校主要工作，作了题为《精心、精致、精彩》的演讲。周世东书记在演讲中从团队建设的三个主要方面——文化认同、组织认同、专业认同强调了新学期学校工作的重点内容。首先，要加强依法治校工作，保障学校有序发展。构建“依法办事、自主管理、民主监督、社会参与”的现代学校制度，坚持依法治校、规范办学。第二，要结合南外方山分校今年的办学重点，抓好“质量攻坚年”工作，加快学校稳步发展。关注课堂阵地，促进学生的全面有个性的发展。充分利用学校小班化教学优势，切实提升南外方山分校的办学品质。第三，要强化“两支队伍”建设，管理队伍和教师队伍协同合作，促进学校持续发展。最后，周世东书记展望新学期，向全体教职员工提出希望：“希望南外方山人团结一心，依靠集体的力量，通过每一个人的努力，创造出新的业绩、新的精彩！”
